New release: FUNKY FUNGUS RELOADED

Today, Zankle Soft released FUNKY FUNGUS RELOADED, a single-screen, multi-level platform game in the style of classic 1980s coin-ops, where the player has to guide the protagonist Funky Fungus across 49 screens full of enemies and dangers in order to save his people from a bizarre army of strange creatures.

The game first appeared in 2013 as FUNKY FUNGUS. In 2019 it was superseded by FUNKY FUNGUS RELOADED, an improved and enhanced version, which is now being released under the Zankle Soft label.

Besides the modified loading and menu screens, the other difference with the 2019 release is that Funky Fungus now starts the game with 9 lives instead of 5.

FUNKY FUNGUS RELOADED can be played on a real or emulated 128 and later ZX Spectrum. 48K users will need a DivIDE/DivMMC interface with ESXDOS 0.8.6 or later to play the game, without background music due to the absence of the AY-3-8912 sound chip.

Game and manual are available in six languages: Italian, English, French, German, Spanish and Portuguese.
